Hingga sat ini saya masih terkagum-kagum dengan kesuksesan dan keefektifan Fotografer.net yang merupakan karya anak bangsa Indonesia dan diperuntukkan juga untuk komunitas Indonesia sendiri. Respons publik luar biasa dan betul-betul bisa menjadi representasi wajah Indonesia melalui stock foto yang ada disitu. Tapi saya pikir Fotografer.net belum terlalu sukses dalam menggali aspek bisnis dari situs yang mempunyai popularitas setinggi itu.

Nah, malam ini saya menemukan konsep bisnis yang menjanjikan di situs baru yang mengkhususkan diri di photo sharing, tapi sekalian bisa terjadi jual-beli terhadap foto-foto yang di share. Jadi member tidak hanya sekedar display hasil karyanya, tapi juga memberi kesempatan pada siapapun untuk memiliki foto aslinya (dengan resolusi tinggi tentunya) dengan membayar harga yang terjangkau (USD 1). This massive collection of royalty-free images is the world's fastest growing independent library. We feature Photographs, vector Illustrations, Flash files, and Video clips. Becoming a member is free, and there are never subscription fees or hidden costs.

Search for images from our library. Just enter the keyword in the Search box at the top. Use the Advanced search options to specify your search results, or Browse our categories to see related images. You can zoom in to images to see up-close details and preview video clips before you download.

Visit the Store to purchase Download Credits when you are ready to buy some images. Credits start as low as $1 each, with a minimum purchase of $12. Buy as many credits as you need; they become less expensive when you buy in bulk. Credits are valid for one full year from the date of purchase.

Then download the image you want for 1, 2, 4, or 6 credits, for xsmall, small, medium, and large files. Even larger resolution images are available, for 10 to 15 credits. Video clips are available for 5 to 50 credits. Every file has been inspected for quality and legal integrity.

Anyone can apply to contribute images to our collection. Click on the "Upload" link in the left hand navigation for a quick tutorial on iStockphoto's expectations and requirements. Then apply to become a photographer, illustrator, or videographer. When you are accepted, start uploading files, and earn royalties when your images are downloaded.
